1) NO FILE MANAGER!! WTF? I LOVE File Manager but W2K doesn't have it. (Sigh) My friend e-mailed me her FM but when I run it I get a GPF!! WTF?? This is gay. I want my old friend, the FM.
: Yah it's there, just run explorer.exe from your start menu, then create a shorcut if you want.
Explorer *isn't* File Manager. Yes, they're similar, but they're not the same. I love File Manager. I hate Explorer. 8P I need like, someone with W3.1 to mail me thier old-school File Manager. lol
2) These little fade in/fade out menus are neat, but they take time to pop up and it slows me down. How can I turn those off?
: : yah, just go to start, settings, taskbar and menu, uncheck personalized menus.. this will get rid of the hidden stuff. then right click on your desktop, goto properties, and then effects. You should see fade menu option there.

3) No W2K drivers for my AWE64! Can I use NT drivers? Or W98 drivers? Suggestions? It's really annoying, because even with the volume turned all the way up I can barely hear anything.

Sorry, no Windows 2000 drivers are currently available for your SoundBlaster AWE64 Gold. There's also no FAQ for the SB AWE64 Gold. Go figger. Think an NT driver would work? make sure you visit windowsupdate.microsoft.com and get SP2, and the updates.
